Iam Lucis was comissioned as part of the Catholic Sacred Music Project's Composition Fellowship in May of 2023. Sam and 7 other composers were slected to work with Sir James MacMillan and Dr. Tim McDonnel to each premier a new work using texts from the feast of corpus christi.
