4 Solos, Snare Drum, and Choir | 4'30"
BOX was commissioned for the Resonances Collective's 2025 NEO Voice Festival, "Rules for Being Human." The piece explores the labels, or 'boxes,' humans use to describe and understand ourselves and one another. 4 soloists and a percussionist, encased in a literal box created by the choir, are encouraged to write their own labels into the music.
